Tom Constanten, keyboardist for The Grateful Dead from 1968 to 1970, arranged this version of his piece “Dejavalse” for my wedding to my late wife Susan. The acclaimed Kronos Quartet of San Francisco performed it.

I am truly honored and delighted to receive this marvelous Henry Clay Distinguished Kentuckian Award. The Hubbards have been in Kentucky since about 1792 if the family genealogy is correct, so my roots run deep. Aviation, space, and politics, have been a part of that history.
