The Planetary Society (TPS), founded in 1980 by Carl Sagan, Louis Friedman, and Bruce Murray continues today, under the leadership of CEO Bill Nye (“The Science Guy”), as the world’s largest and most influential non-profit space organization.

Astrophysicist and sought after science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson and I serve, with about a dozen other distinguished colleagues, as part of TPS’s Advisory Council.
